This article contains details of pay in NHS Band 7 (also known as Agenda for Change Band 7). It covers the Agenda for Change salary in England as a whole, and in the Inner, Outer and Fringe London weighting (HCAS) areas.
In all bands staff receive a starting salary. Then, in all bands except bands 1 and 2, they receive increments after a number of years of service.
Agenda for Change Band 7 salary in England
In Band 7, just like in Band 5 and 6, staff receive two incremental payments. These come after two years and five years. The starting salary at Band 7 is £43,742. This is followed by an incremenet after two years (so paid from the start of the third year of employment) which increases basic pay to £45,996. Then, after three more years of service and a total of five years service in the band, at the start of year six pay increases again to £50,056. NHS HCAS / London Weighting Band 7

Inner London Band 6 staff, just like in Band 5 and 6, staff receive two incremental payments. These come after two years and five years. The starting salary at Band 7 is £51,488. This is followed by an incremenet after two years (so paid from the start of the third year of employment) which increases basic pay to £53,742. Then, after three more years of service and a total of five years service in the band, at the start of year six pay increases again to £57,802.
